Based in Boone, North Carolina, Tanner Hide Leatherworks started the way a lot of real trades work starts, in a kitchen, solving a problem that store-bought gear couldn’t solve. After years in plumbing and running an excavating business, the need was obvious: a leather multitool sheath and leather knife sheath that could survive tough work environments, ride close to the body, deploy fast, and not fall apart after a season.
Now we build small batch goods and made to order leather sheaths for hard working people across Boone, the High Country, and all over the United States through our website. Every stitch is done by hand because quality is built, not rushed.
